A really nice hostel at the foot of the mountain and by the university, in other words in the best spot in the city . we had the double room which was clean and large enough . the shared bathroom was actually our own, only in the hall and not in the room itself . the owners are really pleasant, the bed comfortable . we loved the common space next ton the reception . if there' s one thing that could be better it's that in the bathroom the shower is by the door and the toilet farther away so once you take a shower, the whole bathroom becomes a lake for an hour or two. i suppose a mop in the bathroom (or one of those rubber window cleaning thingies) would solve the issue. apart from this, perfect. we initially booked 2 nights there and liked it so much we stayed 3 more.

It has a cool design, there are free coffee and drinking water, the staff is super friendly and the location is super close to the forest so you can go hiking without renting a motorbike or taking a taxi. Really recommend this place if you want to have a quiet and comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. By the way in the library they a book about Thai birds which is fun to browse through.

Quiet, cosy and clean hostel. Nice bed and laundry facilities at a reasonable charge. You can find nice cafes, dessert places and convenient stores down the street. In the evening, you can find interesting street food stalls along the road and the food is yummy. The monk hill hiking trail is near the hostel, it is nice to have a hike up the hill.

Clean room. Clean shared bathroom. Very friendly and helpful guy working at the reception. Nice and quiet spot in Chiang Mai, not too far from the city, but quiet and very close to nature
